The Jean and Samuel Frankel Jewish Academy of Metropolitan Detroit (FJA), formerly the Jewish Academy of Metropolitan Detroit (JAMD), is located in West Bloomfield, Michigan at the Dan and Betty Kahn Jewish Community Center. The Frankel Jewish Academy is a college preparatory Jewish day high school. Students that attend come from various denominations within Judaism including Reform Judaism, Conservative Judaism, and Orthodox Judaism.
The school teaches a dual curriculum including both General Studies and Jewish Studies courses.
Rabbi Eric Grossman is the current head of the school having succeeded Rabbi Lee Buckman in January 2008.
